dnshistory software package provides Translating and storing of IP addresses from log files, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install dnshistory
dnshistory is installed in your system.
Make ensure the dnshistory package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dnshistory *
You will get with dnshistory package name, version, architecture and description in a table
